OVERFILLED OIL
Problem - I overfilled the engine with oil and now the car smokes when driving. How do I fix this?
Possibility 1 - Overfilling will cause oil to spill into the breather and into the intake and filling a cylinder or number of cylinders with oil. Oil does not compress so the engine will not crank. Remove all spark plugs and clean all cylinders with brake cleaner and compressed air. Remove the brake booster hose on the front end of the intake manifold and drain the intake manifold of oil. The car should start now. Run the car for several minutes until smoke goes away and then have a mechanic inspect the car for you.
Possibility 2 - Remove spark plugs and put a drop of petrol in the cylinder. Turn the car over for a minute. This will blow out the oil.
